Safari In Kenya

The characteristic image of large herds of elephants against the beautiful backdrop of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa’s tallest mountain) in Amboseli National Park is beloved by many. Vast golden savanna grasslands. Countless migrating wildebeest and zebras crossing the fast-flowing Mara River en masse in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Mystical cloud forests on the flanks of Mount Kenya (Africa’s second tallest mountain). Lions stalking their prey in the photogenic semi-desert of Samburu National Park. And red-colored elephants contrasting in the vast landscape of Tsavo National Park, situated close to the Indian Ocean coast. Kenya offers world-famous game parks with the Big 5, wildlife at waterholes, and an exceptionally friendly population – a land full of contrasts!

Wildlife parks, animals and culture in Kenya

Kenya is one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. It offers an incredible mix of wildlife, culture, and breathtaking scenery. Here, you can explore world-famous national parks and reserves teeming with wildlife, including the legendary Big Five. From vast savannahs and rolling hills to dramatic mountains and sparkling lakes, Kenya showcases an extraordinary variety of landscapes. Beyond the wildlife, you will discover vibrant cultures and traditions. Meet the Maasai and Samburu communities, visit colorful villages, and gain insight into ways of life that have remained deeply connected to nature for generations.

Kenya has been attracting safari enthusiasts for more than a century. The wealthy European elite preceded you as early as the beginning of the twentieth century: on safari in Kenya. Fortunately, the hunting rifle has since been exchanged for the camera, allowing you to fully enjoy an overwhelming abundance of wildlife and impressive nature here in a responsible and sustainable way. And the adventure does not have to end when the safari is over. Kenya combines perfectly with a relaxing beach stay on the Indian Ocean, whether on the beautiful coast near Mombasa or on the tropical shores of Zanzibar. Few destinations offer such a complete African experience.

The Great Migration In Kenya

The migration of millions of animals between the Masai Mara in Kenya and the Serengeti in Tanzania is a phenomenal event. This annual spectacular, ‘The Great Migration’, brings endless herds of wildebeest and zebras to the Masai Mara around July in search of fresh grass. When the rainy season begins again in late October and the Serengeti in Tanzania turns green once more, the herds leave the Masai Mara and return to the southern plains of the Serengeti National Game Park. Would you like to witness this phenomenon? We would be happy to select an accommodation with a sublime location for you.
