We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Kigali or the airport and take care of everything, including your drive across the border into Uganda and all the way to the Rushaga Sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Travel To Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Enjoy a beautiful drive from Kigali to Lake Mutanda near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Pass the green hills, forests, volcanoes, and small villages. Our guide will pick you up from the airport or your hotel. At Mutanda Lake Resort, check in and relax. In the afternoon, you can take a nature walk, swim in the lake, or enjoy a sunset boat cruise.
Day 2:Face To Face With Gorillas
In the morning, travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for an incredible gorilla trek. With a packed lunch from your lodge, follow expert rangers through dense jungle, searching for signs of gorillas—droppings, nests, broken branches. Finally, face a silverback guarding his family. That powerful, peaceful moment will stay with you forever—a rare and unforgettable wildlife encounter.
Day 3: Travel Back To Kigali
Wake up to your last sunrise in Uganda and enjoy a tasty breakfast at the lodge. Then, our guide will drive you back to Rwanda, ensuring you reach Kigali Airport at least 3 hours before your flight. Flights must depart after 4 pm; earlier flights require an extra night in Kigali.
