Your journey begins in the lively town of Arusha and takes you to the beautiful Tarangire National Park. Next, you’ll visit the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s top wildlife destinations. This massive volcanic crater is packed with animals, including the famous Big Five, and offers some of the most scenic game viewing in the world. It’s a truly unique natural wonder.
Finally, explore the vast plains of the Serengeti, where you can witness the Great Migration — a dramatic movement of millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles in search of water and fresh grass. Day 1
Welcome To The Wonders of Tanzania
After a warm welcome at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha to relax and recover from your flight. If time allows, explore the colourful town to experience Tanzanian life and culture. Set at the foot of Mount Meru, Arusha is the gateway to some of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders and makes an ideal stopover before or after your safari. From local cuisine and coffee plantations to museums and shops, we can arrange a guide to help you discover the best of the town.
After breakfast, you’ll head to Tarangire National Park, where your game drive begins amid baobab-studded plains and rich wildlife, including elephants, big cats, and over 550 bird species. During the dry season, the park hosts Tanzania’s highest concentration of mammals. Enjoy guided game drives, walking safaris, or an optional hot-air balloon ride for a breathtaking view of the landscape and wildlife.

Explore Ngorongoro And Spectacular Wildlife
After a delicious breakfast accompanied by the morning sounds of the bush, you’ll game drive out of the park and continue to your lodge near the Ngorongoro Crater. From here, set out on a game drive into the Crater—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—in a comfortable seven-seater vehicle with pop-up roofs, onboard power points, and fridges. You can also hike to Olmoti and Empakaai Craters or visit a nearby Maasai village and join herders as they bring their cattle home for the night.
After breakfast, you’ll journey toward the vast, wildlife-rich plains of the Serengeti, spotting abundant animals like gazelles, zebras, and wildebeests along the way. You’ll arrive at your safari lodge in central Serengeti in time for lunch, which you can enjoy while taking in the sweeping grassy landscapes. Over the next few days, you’ll explore this iconic wilderness with morning and late afternoon game drives, returning to the lodge during the midday heat to relax, enjoy lunch, and rest. Evenings are spent around the campfire, sharing stories of the day’s wildlife encounters before a delicious dinner.

Final Serengeti Moments
After a final breakfast in camp, our team will assist in transferring you to the local airstrip for your flight to Kilimanjaro Airport. The plane will likely make a few stops as it picks up and drops off fellow passengers at selected airstrips, eventually arriving around midday. Upon arrival and with your head bursting with all the incredible adventures you have enjoyed, collect your bags and check in for your onward journey home.
