Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Your safari will start as soon as you touch down at the Entebbe International Airport. You will be met by your Greenway Nature Tour guide who will help load the bags into our comfortable, airconditioned vehicle before we set off for our guesthouse situated nearby. Located near Kampala on the shores of Lake Victoria, Entebbe has a relaxed and local feel. If you arrive early, maybe stretch your legs with a stroll through Entebbe Botanical Garden, enjoy a sunset boat cruise on Lake Victoria, or shop for souvenirs at Entebbe Craft Village.
Day 2: Nairobi To Maasai Mara
Start early with a 6:30 am pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi by your driver-guide. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at the Valley viewpoint for breathtaking views of this natural wonder. Continue to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, with a short en-route game drive offering your first chance to spot wildlife.
Arrive at the camp in time for lunch, then relax and soak in the surroundings before heading out for your evening game drive. Explore the vast, tree-studded savannah in search of Africa’s iconic wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, hippos, and many more. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
Day 3: Explore Maasai Mara
Spend a full day exploring the incredible Masai Mara Game Reserve. Begin with morning and afternoon game drives across the vast, tree-studded savannah, searching for the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—as well as many other fascinating animals. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch at a scenic spot on the plains, surrounded by breathtaking views. In the afternoon, visit a Maasai village to experience local culture and meet the Maasai people. After the visit, return to your camp to relax and enjoy the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp, listening to the sounds of the wild around you.
Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve To Naivasha
After an early breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Naivasha, descending the Great Rift Valley Escarpment along the way. Arrive at your resort in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the lake, spotting hippos, a variety of birds, and other wildlife. Later, take a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, exploring its scenic trails and encountering more animals up close. Return to the resort in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of Lake Naivasha.
Day 5: Depart Naivasha To Nairobi
On your final day, enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the resort before checking out and driving back to Nairobi. Visit the famous Giraffe Centre for a close encounter with these gentle giants and enjoy feeding them up close. Afterward, have lunch or a late meal in Nairobi before being transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
