Day 1
Arrive In Stone Town- Walking Tour and Forodhani Market Visit
When you arrive at Zanzibar Airport, your guide will meet you and take you to Stone Town for a fun walking tour. Stone Town is the old cultural center of Zanzibar and hasn’t changed much in 200 years. Its narrow streets, busy markets, mosques, and big Arab houses tell the story of the island’s rich history. You’ll see beautiful brass-studded doors—over 500 of them—all with unique designs. Walking through these old streets feels like going back in time. Your tour will include famous places like the House of Wonders, the old slave market, and the Arab Fort. You’ll also visit two cathedrals, many mosques, and the lively local market, all while exploring the town’s charming alleys and carved wooden doors. In the evening, head to Forodhani Gardens to enjoy the night food market. Taste delicious grilled seafood and local treats right by the ocean.Spend the night at the lovely Jafferji House.
